Hi all! Do you watch reality shows? I use to be crazy and watch all the reality shows, but right now I rarely watch any because I have no time. During the summer I watched So You Think You Can Dance and Big Brother.
I really like reality shows because they're so addictive and quite hilarious.  |

Yeah, I don't watch reality shows as much as I used to. I do watch American Idol though. Big fan! |

There not even really reality shows. The only true reality show is Cops. These ones like Survivor makes me cry inside. They are horrible shows that contribute to the dumbing down of America.   |

I LOVE "Reality" shows! While they aren't "real" per se, I like them because they are a new edge on classic game shows 
Now, many of them are too stupid for me to watch. I HATE "The Bachelor" for instance. I just can't stand all the fake "I'm looking for my true love" bullshit that it spews. After the show, they never stay together. DUH! We know you're doing it for the money and to be on TV, so stop trying to give us the Disney happy ending.
(Oh yeah, isn't that show on ABC, owned by Disney? NO WONDER! They're always trying to make us believe in Prince Charming. HE DOESN"T EXIST )
One show I LOOOOOOOOOOVE though is "Beauty and the Geek". That is the ONLY reality show that has me on edge when it's elimination time. I don't want ANYONE to leave! (usually). They do great casting for that show. Everyone feels really sincere and honest. It's fun, rather then mean and hostile |

| I don't mind them usually.. but Kid Nation makes me sick.. ugh. I heard that 1 kid drank a bottle of bleach thinking it was water, and 2 were burned while making that show. |

My favourite is "Beauty and the Geek" because i think its such a great way for people to break those nasty social barriers!  Although I am not to fond of the Bachelor because love shouldn't be played as a game...its hurtful and disrespectful! |

I have heard from someone in the industry that it's not real... mostly scripted.
In any case, I find it more drama than I want in my life. I watch TV to be entertained, not frustrated. |
